The Chattanooga Yacht Club has become one of Tennessee’s premier yacht clubs. Our club’s strong historical background combined with a modern focus on the evolving needs of its members has given our club the ability to stand the test of time. CYC’s rich heritage began in 1925 as the Chattanooga Rod and Gun Club by an influential group of 250 Chattanooga businessmen led by J.W. Oliphant.
The Chattanooga Yacht Club is a private club and a true power boater’s yacht club. With over 3000 feet of shoreline located on 63 protected acres, CYC is one of the finest boating facilities along the Tennessee River System. The CYC yacht basin is a picturesque and welcoming port for all types of boating and enthusiasts
